Kevin Phan – General Manager

As a child of restaurateurs, Kevin grew up with food as an important part of his identity. From weekly Sunday dinners at his grandmother’s house to afternoons spent at the family’s restaurants, Kevin always connected food with family.

After a Strategy and Operations career in the high tech industry, Kevin decided he wanted to move closer to an industry he had a lifelong passion for. At Tam Tam, Kevin joins forces with his mother, Chef Tammy Huynh, and aunt, Tanya Hartley, to further tell the story of Vietnam through food. As General Manager, he is excited to welcome our guests to experience and explore the regional diversity in Vietnamese cuisine.

Kevin most recently received his Masters in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley’s Haas School of Business.


Kym Minick – Private Dining Director

Having lived in different parts of the world has given Kym a unique hospitable nature, one which is well suited to helping our private dining guests plan their special evening.  His ten years of restaurant experience help to ensure that our guests are thrilled with all aspects of the memorable evening. After four years as Maitre D’ and Private Dining Director of Tamarine, Kym is excited to bring his trademark personal care and service to lead the Private Dining program at Tam Tam. He is looking forward to working with our guests to help create and deliver that special evening to remember.
